My 30 day challenge... (for myself)

I have decided that for the next month (i.e. 30 days) I am going to finish at least one project a day. I can do more than one, but then I cannot count it for the next day. "Those are the rules I just made up." So here we go.

So... I don't know that this is technically part of my challenge, because I finished it yesterday and it still needs a button sewn on. But I was excited to get this shrug off my needles! I got the yarn in the 1.99 clearance basket at my LYS and still have enough to make a matching shrug for Lila. Color me excited! (Plus, everyone in my knitting group is making this easy-peasy project... yeah... I gave in to crafting peer pressure.)

Plus she loves pink, and look how happy she is! Anyhow, moving right along...

I finished her purple Minnie Mouse dress. Again, I don't know that this should count for too much because I bought the pre-shirred fabric so all I had to do was sew the seam up the back and add the ribbon ties. 10 minutes from start to finish, and that includes ironing! (The real question is why in the heck I waited so long, ah well, it's done now.)

Ta Da!!! This project has been hanging over my head for several months now and I am thrilled to be finished. Some of you may remember the handmade give away I did on my other blog way back when, well this is my gift for Emily (who I still call Emser in my head...) and will be packed up and shipped off tomorrow with a deep sigh of relief that it didn't actually take me the entire year allotted. (And Amy, your gift is done too and will be in the mail tomorrow as well, don't ask me why but I had it in my head that I couldn't send one until the other was done... sorry.)

Okay! So one day down and 29 to go. I can so do this.

Chrissy! I got my apron. Holy Cats girl, I am speechless! I love it so much! You are amazing. I seriously need to come and take lessons from you. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I can't believe you made that for me. I feel so honored! By the way, did I mention I love it and thank you? Well I do. See how excited I am to have such a wonderful gift? I am rambling! Thanks again, you are too much!

I am glad you love it, I thought since your other blog is a food blog I couldn't go too wrong with an apron. :)

He He! Thank you again. I love to wear it around the house, but will cry if I ever get anything on it, it is so beautiful.
